About the event
Today is the first day of Election Season! Early voting starts today! Make a plan, come to the Courthouse complex and be a part of the excitement about our "experiment in self-governance!"
Bring your kids (Children under 15 are alowed to watch you vote), bring your I.D. (An approved I.D. is required under Virginia law) and take a selfie (It's permitted under Virginia law) or a photo of your ballot (That's allowed under Virginia law, too, just not of anyone else's ballot) and be a part of our city's history!
